Shiseido has announced the launch of Ultimune, a new anti-ageing product which treats the skin from within, in order to encourage immunity from future ageing. Developed from 20 years of research into skin’s immunity by Shiseido, the brand has developed the first complex that directly targets Langerhans cells. Ultimune reactivates and restores Langerhans cell functions, making them stronger and able to protect skin more effectively. The Ultimune Complex™ combines the three ingredients of Bulgarian Rosewater, Aqua in Pool and Beta-glucan, a formula proven to increase cell’s defensive function by 64% by stimulating collagen production, hydration and strengthening the skin’s barrier function. Additional ingredients include Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract, perilla and wild thyme. Available September 4 for £60 at stockists including Harrods, Harvey Nichols, John Lewis, House of Fraser and Boots.
