Telegraph Media Group announces editorial leadership team update
Telegraph Media Group has announced updates to its senior editorial team across both print and digital. Chris Evans has been named Editor of The Telegraph weekday newspapers while Ian MacGregor is now Editor of the weekend newspapers. Both will have roles in the digital development of the newspaper. Kate Day will become Director of Digital Content, taking responsibility for digital content and leading a number of initiatives including Portal, Mobile/iPad and Interactive. Ben Clissitt will take on the new title of Digital Director, Visual Journalism and will be responsible for video, pictures and planning. Richard Ellis has been named Director of Editorial Transformation & Talent taking over Operations and Budget across both print and digital having led a number of initiatives during the transition period. Dan Hickey, previously Head of Digital Products at US media company Meredith Corporation, has been appointed as General Manager of Lifestyle whilst Gregg Stewart will take on the new role of Director of Audience Development. Gregg will be responsible for the acquisition, retention and growth of new audiences and will also be in charge of SEO, social media, newsletters and partnerships. Telegraph Media Group have also appointed Rob Winnett, Mark Skipworth and Liz Hunt as Deputy Editors.
Cosmopolitan.co.uk names Digital Lead
Cosmopolitan.co.uk has announced the appointment of Kate Lucey as Digital Lead. Kate was previously Acting Online Editor and looks after the website and social media for the title.
Harrods Magazine names Fashion Editor
Harrods Magazine has announced the promotion of Victoria Gaiger from Freelance Menswear Fashion Editor to Fashion Editor. She replaces Jodie Nellist who has left the company to go freelance.
