Despite discouraging news in print media (such as Time Inc.’s job cuts), the magazine industry is still birthing new titles. In fact, it will welcome two fashiony newcomers to its ranks this week from luxury shopping sites Editorialist and Net-A-Porter.
Net-A-Porter’s offering, named Porter, will feature Gisele smiling coyly atop its cover. The 300-page read, a “celebration of incredible women,” will hit newsstands in over 60 countries on Friday. There will be six issues a year.
New site Editorialist‘s offering, named Editorialist (look, when you have a great name, you stick with it), is also debuting this Friday. It will be issued bi-annually and the inaugural edition will feature sultry Danish model Nina Agdal going half-topless.

In the issue, which features celebs like Jessica Alba and Olivia Wilde, Agdal expounds upon such topics as being a sex symbol (“I think it’s funny….When people meet me, they’re like, ‘You’re so down to earth.'”) and her career as a model (“To do Chanel would be the absolute dream.”). It will be free to readers on editorialist.com.
